Conrad from This Immortal, although it would be great to meet Jack from Jack of Shadows just to see if he lived.

A favorite of mine is James Lee Burke's Dave Robichaux because he has principles he tries to live by, but when he comes up short, he feels regret and tries to make amends.

And what about Clete Purcell? Difficult to admire all his actions, but you can admire his loyalty to his friend. We'd all be lucky to have a friend that sticks like he does, even though he's a pain at times.
