Building a SciFi/Fantasy Library discussion

I have a hard time knowing how to pronounce authors' last names. For example:

I want to read We by Yevgeny Zamyatin, but how do I even begin to pronounce that name?

Usually you can Google the person's name and the word "pronounce" and find something. I imagine it's pronounced pretty much how it looks, because it's a Russian name so that is technically the transliterated spelling. Just remember that in transliterated words, the "i" is usually pronounced "ee" and "a" like "ah".
