Nonfiction - Screwtape Letters
I highly recommend Letters to Children. This book is a compilation of letters C.S. Lewis wrote to both American and English fans. I felt like I got to know him a little through these sweet letters. In this book, he also shares his favorite books: Perelandra and Till We Have Faces.

I loved the Space Trilogy and Till We Have Faces. Really I would have a problem picking my favourite book! ;-)

@ Cleo what you say about choosing your favorite books is only too true. :)
I just started reading his books I have read a few and cant pick a favorite i want to read the space triogoly ones next

The Space Trilogy is high on my re-read list. I just bought Planets in Peril which gives a critical assessment of the trilogy so it would be interesting to read it alongside.

Let us know what you think of it after you finish, Abby. It's on my to-read list!

I LOVE "On Stories." So much good stuff in there. Especially the piece on Dorothy L. Sayers, and the conversation with his fellow writers.

Ooo, I can't wait to read it now. I'm going to put it down in my summer to-read list.
i [lan on reading all of them cant wait to hear how much you all enjoy them

Yes! Yes! Someone else who is devoted to love of the Space Trilogy. Yes!
In my opinion the best books authored by C. S. Lewis are The Great Divorce and The Magician's Nephew.

Till We Have Faces was one I read as a fairly young kid and was blown away by how C.S. Lewis retold a myth in such an honest way . . . without being preachy at all, in my opinion.
The Silver Chair is my favorite of the Narnia books, although I can't say specifically why. Partly because Puddleglum is one of my all-time favorite characters in the world :)
