Nominations will be open until November 30, and then we'll post a poll for voting in early December.

Please remember to nominate books that are not new releases and that are available in paperback.

I'm going to nominate Blindness by José Saramago and The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

Does anyone have a list of the group reads from FL on iVillage? Or should we just start with a blank slate? I don't mind re-reads.

I don't have a list, but I could tell you off the top of my head when I see a title if we read it! I remember reading Blindness and discussing it, but it wasn't a group read and neither was Shadow of the Wind.

Let's just start with a blank slate :)

Blindness is one of the rare books that I liked the movie more than the book.

I'll nominate Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harrisand Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks.
