Do you ever picture your future one way, the house, the guy, and the job, and then wonder if it will all go wrong one day?

I use to but I refuse to do that anymore. It gets exhausting and really depressing when you start thinking of all the things that could go wrong in life. It is hard enough.

Umm when you say some random logic and everyone around you laughs but you are serious, you mean it. Ex: do you think elephants get nosebleeds??

Everyone thinks your joking and when they find out that you aren't they call it stupid.

People who laugh at those type of questions just don't want everyone to know that secretly, they want to know the answers too. That's how I see it. >.<

Why are there flotation devices in the seats of planes instead of parachutes?

...there are dumb answers too...
ex: pilots prefer crashing in waters...and no one( as far as i know) even tried opening the roof of a plane in mid-air like jets and stealth look alike and the passengers' seats would float in mid-air and using their parachutes at the same time...that would be disastrous...

to answer that Question we need to study the History of the word...where it originated...social situation on the time the word was formed and how the meaning changes over time...and that's a lot of work...gonna try to answer that next time...

Another question that's been running in my head, why do they call it a glove compartment? Did they actually keep gloves in it 'back in the day'?

yep, when automobiles were new you would have special gloves for guys and girls specially made for driving... everyone had gloves in that time period for different things... so it is known as a glove box because thats where they kept their gloves...

If you are riding in a car traveling at the speed of light what happens when you turn on your headlights?

the light travels at twice the speed of light because

car headlights moving at speed of light + actual light moving at the speed of light = double the speed of light

or maybe they just move at the same rate... not sure... just theories.

I have a question!!! ... ... I was watching this "scary" show about giant bugs. And this just popped into my head. Why are cockroaches SO HARD to kill? I always hear that they could live an atomic bomb! WTF?!

Idk all I know is that they are disgusting and I wish the earth would be rid of them.
