Ginnielee (vampirekisses) | 33 comments So I feel that the groups I am in do not know me very well so I feel that I should post something about myself for you all to learn about me a bit....

Hi my names Ginnie and I am a bookaholic. Sounds like an AA meeting =) not that AA groups are bad but still it just reminded me of it. SO anyways, I'm a bit goofy and a bit random. I like to take long walks on the beach, no really, but not in that type of way, we have a man made toxic waste lake around my house but the view of it is nice so I like to walk around it. I also really like exercising. I know weird but I like the treadmill. I'm also obber obsessed with Vampires. They are what I think about all the time next to what death is like. Does it hurt, how long do you wait for judgment, is there judgment, do I get pretty wings and be and angel or horns for a demon. I'm pretty open about most stuff, bodily functions, my feelings, what I think about something, but don't get me wrong. If I feel that what I’m going to say will hurt someone I try not to say it. Sarah Dessen, she is a great author I mean she tells it like it is. No sugar coating. All though it annoys me that the chick always has to have a guy come along to help her deal with some major life issue. Makes since though, every girl wants her prince charming. If you haven't learned anything about my personality yet then your not paying attention enough. O yeah I also love black and white everything. I am a Christian and like most Christians I put full faith in God. To say I believe in God alone doesn't mean you’re a Christian. The Devil believes in God. In fact he knows he exists. God wanted us to treat everyone as equal. The heterosexual and the homosexual. We are the same and we all have feelings. People say that history repeats itself, I'm one of those people. Just like with the Blacks, we are discriminating against those who are attracted to the same sex or even both. We need to accept them as they are, the bible says that a man should not lay with a man he does his wife, but it also says you should not wear clothes with two different materials in them or get divorced. Okay chow

Hello all! My name is Helen (But I like Helena) and I love to write plys! I have 2 of them printed and hopefully I will find some people willing to perform them. Anyway, I am very random and I love to act and if you get to know me well enough I can be very funny. I like sarcasim! My favorite colors are purple, all shades of blue, green, and orange. I love Shakespeare! I have read 7 of his plays and I am in the middle of an 8th, and I have performed in a bridged version of Two Gentlemen of Verona. I am going to see the full version TONIGHT and I have seen A Midsummer Night's Dream. I am French. I am NOT patriotic at all, I hate our president. Go Obama! And, on what World Peace said, I don't want a prince charming. They are just SOOO over-rated. I am young, perhaps I will grow to like boys, but hopefully not for a few more years. If you saw the boys in my school you would understand, trust me. I do go to church, but thats only because I'm too scared to tell my mom I don't beleive in god. I recently got a cellphone and it is AWESOME! Its green, oh yeah! Well, thats all I've got to say so byez and Hasta La Vista!

This is a great idea Ginnie! I'm not religious, but I think thats cool that you are! I'm very political and like Obama. I'm pro-choice and I'm for homosexuals, though I am not one. Surprisingly, I only started reading The Gemma Doyle Trilogy in January! (Believe it). How did you come across the books?

I found A Great and Terrible Beauty in a bookstore when I was visting a friend. I loved and still love the victorian era, and that's what appealed to me at first. I also loved the cover, and I have a thing about female heroines with red hair. And the desciption was amazing, I had to read it. Though I actually got it at the library first, then RA was on hold in the library and I had to get my hands on it now. I didn't care about the price, I needed the book. Ditto with TSFT.

message 10: by Ginnielee (new)

Ginnielee (vampirekisses) | 33 comments TSFT???

Emma Blue (litlover) | 5135 comments Mod
The Sweet Far Thing. And RA is Rebel Angels. AGATB is A Great and Terrible Beauty. Are you going to read TSFT soon?

message 12: by Ginnielee (new)

Ginnielee (vampirekisses) | 33 comments Yeah i'm actually away from my personal library (that's what i call my bookshelf) but when I get home i'll have a cahnce to read it. I'm actually reading impulse right now by ellen hopkins and it's super good. May look long but super easy to read.

Hihi, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Jenny.
I found the series first in seventh grade, but the third one hadn't come out yet. I was scanning my middle school library's shelves, when I noticed an interesting cover near one of my favorite book series. I read the back and I thought the plot was interesting. So I decided to give it a chance and read it. I thought they were great. I mean, I really didn't consider them as some of my favorite books. Eventually, I went on with my life and sort of forgot about them. Then two years later I was on the Barnes and Noble website looking for random book's prices because I needed them for a project. Then I noticed The Sweet Far Thing. After a few months my birthday came up and that's one of the things I asked for. I got it, along with a few other books. I read some of those books first. Then I got to TSFT. I could not put it down. I read for three days. On the last day I skipped a dance to finish it. Although, my friends were a little upset about that. I didn't care. I finished it that night and I loved it. The ending made me bawl and bawl. I was so upset. It was worth reading though. It actually led me to Goodreads too. I was searching something I HAD to know right after I finished it and I joined Goodreads in my quest to find it. I met Emma :) (Remember that Emma) and she explained it to me.

I love pictures. I know that my sound weird but pictures can take you places you probably will never go to in real life. Just like books!:)
I read when ever I can. When I don't have a book to read I feel hopeless. When ever I read a book that love and it doesn't have a a sequel I feel like a part of me has died.I could read all night and all day. I love the Great and Terrible Beauty books!
