[Booktalk December] where is your main Character
date
newest »

Well, I just finished American Gods and to be honest, he didn't really cover that much the country. I know that wasn't the point, exactly, but I can say my main character spent most the story in northern Wisconsin.

@ Crossing Paths, the bookcrossing novel http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/94... (a bookring)
I recently started with The Serpent on the Crown a Amelia Peabody mystery. I love her stories even as the pattern is quiete similar ""Every year another dead body" said Abdullah"
So my Chars are in Luxor and in the Valley of Kings on the West Bank of the Nile.

Is it a bookring? I never heard of a book about bookcrossing.

Should I check and see? Yup, I'm on the Play Pen, and prior to clocking the bad guy I am conducting a whirl wind search of the boat while the bad guy is off on a set up errand.
Can you guess what I'm reading or who wrote it?

No Man's Land by John Heminway. (Sorry, can't remember how to make links).

Easy Bookguide: Above the comment box, towards the right, you can see "add book/author". Click on that and the "add a reference" screen comes up. Type in the name of the book, click search, and choose the book you want to link.

We're in Verona and we're falling in love! I'm reading Romeo and Juliet.
I'm also reading about two older lovers in Sussex: Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson. Absolutely charming. A must read.
PS: You're welcome Bookguide and Feodora.

Now I am in Oxford. My Character is a argentinian Student for mathematics (*urgs*),who get involved in a row of muder as the first victim is his landlady.
Die Pythagoras-Morde.
Die Pythagoras-Morde.

Now I am in Goteborg and my character is Irene Hus a criminal inspector. I like the stories about her from Helen Thrusten. Normally I am not a fan of scandinavian authors but she is good.

My new character lives in Bristol and works for the Bristol gazette. Its funny, fast and a bit like Bridget Jones's diary.
