Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group discussion

The year is winding down. So start thinking about all the fantastic books you read with fantastic heroes, 'cause you can pick only one....the best hero of the year. You don't have to choose now. But, by the end of December, you should have your guy in mind!

This is gonna be really hard. There's a lotta great heroes out there!

Mmmm...those MacLeod Immortals are some seriously dangerous sword weilding heroes.

Ok *deep breath*...this was super hard, but I'm going with Rain Tairen Soul from C.L. Wilson's Tairen Soul series. I devoured this series this year and was completely obsessed by it, and kinda still am.

It was hard to pick as I've read some seriously scrumptious heroes this year, but there you go.

Seriously, I'm positive this dilemma is gonna keep me awake most of the night... This is plain mean *pouts*

Well, I'm gonna put all 52 names in a hat and pick that way! lol jk.... not really 52 but close.

Okay, after much fretting, tears, and heart searching, I nominate John Matthew from Lover Mine by J R Ward, he is both dangerous, and lethal, as well as being vulnrable and just god darned adorble!

You don't have to pick a hero just yet! You have 29 days left!

I know, but he was the first person that came to mind so I decided to go with my first inclination otherwise I will be agonizing for ages and still come up with the same response!

OMG, picks already? OK here goes. These are the guys that made my heart skip a beat in 2010.

Eidolon (Demonica) - Throughout the series he's been the anchor of his family. He sticks by his woman, his family, his fellow demons through literal hell and back. I love that he's not aggressively alpha but don't you dare mess with his people.

Rehvenge (BDB) - A pimp and a drug dealer turned out to be so much more. The sacrifices he made for the ones he loved broke my heart over and over.

Conall (Demonica) - Half vampire and half werewolf once he realized he was in love with his woman there was nothing (even his own death) that could keep him from her.

Charles (Alpha & Omega) - His strength and dedication to his female, his Pack and his family was endearing and heartwarming. He's a hitman with heart. Totally irresistible.

Rhage (BDB) - The amazingly handsome vampire who fell in love with an average woman. His lack of brain to mouth filter made him hilarious and sexy and sweet. The pain he went through to keep his woman endeared him to me forever.

@Akaria - I think you're supposed to pick only ONE.

I have my "one and only" ready to go. Just tell me when!!

As much as I love your list, you have to pick one of those, Akaria! We're all having to make sacrifices here! :)

Okay, after thinking a lot, here it comes: my favorite dark hero in 2010 is Jonas Wyatt, Director of the Bureau of Breed Affairs in Lora Leigh's Breeds series. He's a total baddass, cold, manipulative, absolute Alpha, bogeyman of the Breeds and totally irresistible.
I wasn't sure about choosing him for Lora Leigh sorta let him down in his own book (what a shame!) Lion's Heat , but even though his character morphed dramatically in this last instalment in the series, I loved him long before and chose him anyway.
