Sarah (sarah23l) So I'm curious - did anyone reach their goals for 2010? Now that this year is drawing to a close, what reading goals have you set for 2011? Anyone partcipating in any fun challenges?

Sarah (sarah23l) This year was the first time I ever set a reading goal, and I'm proud to say that I have exceeded my goal of 60 books in 2010! Next year I'm going to shoot for 72. I'm also participating in a challenge where I have to read 36 books I already own(3 per month).

Chris Stanley (christinelstanley) Hi to everyone
I'm new to this site and I love reading. A given I guess, otherwise why would I join this site.
My challenge for this year is to read a minimum of one classic book a month (and not one I have read before). By January I will have decided which ones and will post here so I cannot back down.
Chris

Jim (jimmaclachlan) My personal challenge is to reduce my TBR pile to less than one row on the top of the 5' bookcase at the end of my bed. Right now, it is at least a double row. I don't know how many books that is or what all they are, but I need to get that pile down before I get more.

Whoops! Amazon now has the early Quarry books by Max Allan Collins available again. I've read 4 & really liked them. I need to buy 4 more to complete the set. Guess what's NOT going down...

;-)

So many books, so little time!
