Oh man! You know I kind of look at genres as guidelines anyway---I mean Ann Rice gets put in popular fiction when other Historical and Urban (what did that guy call it) Gothic/Horror gets put into other sections. You are more brilliant than me--I would have told him that there were not enough shelves and we needed to combine genres!
I was kind of afraid to engage him further. You know, avoid meeting their eyes, back away slowly...
(I sure hope when I'm shopping for clothing or hardware I don't come across to the clerks the way some bookstore customers come across to me :-)

Wow. The guy's behavior the definition of nitpicky.I absolutely adore the CBS...they make an awesome environment even more enjoyable and easy to navigate (the latter a fact that was seemingly lost on the LBM)! You handled the situation wonderfully, but I hope you don't have to endure that often. o.O
No, you remember the bad ones, but the vaaaast majority of our customers are awesome.
