The idea of this thread was for people to share the impact of their books.
Mine certainly created a huge impact.

In writing "Jacob's Courage," my hope for impact was to teach readers what it felt like to be a Jew in Europe duing the Holocaust. I despise only two things in this world: child abuse and prejudice. If education can reduce the likelihood of bigotry and genocide, then my novel can take part in that worthy cause. If even one reader learns to be more tolerant, then my effort will have been well-served.
