Since I am a distance ed student right now, there is not a lot of time to read when studying and work need to be prioritized first. BUT I handed in my last assignment for fall semester this morning and I am ready to ....

CRAM AS MANY BOOKS into the last three weeks of 2010! While trying to branch out from my comort zones.

My aim is:
1 - Classic
3 or more - from my TBR

and with me not working the last week of December, this should be attainable!

When I finish a book I will strike it and post a short blurb about it.

I did enjoy it, there was a Judy Blume meets Sex in the City nature to the style and delivery.

Can you explain more what you mean by your "comfort reads: new reads" ratio? It's an interesting idea.

For me a "comfort read" is either a book or author that I will read over and over and over again, and what I want to do is have "new reads" (books and authors I have not read) out weight my "comfort reads" and I thought the easiest way for me to see this progress is in ratio format of "comfort reads:new reads"

a "comfort read", this explains a lot of my reading.....thanx for this and yes this may be a good way to track my type of reading.......a ratio......since i have become a part of this group, my ratio of comfort reads to new reads has changed immensely......
