Gabriella (stardust_126) What are you guys reading right now? I am reading The Day the World Came To Town By Jim DeFede. I am also reading Fallen Angel: The Unlikely Rise of Walter Stadnick in the Canadian Hells Angels, but I don't know if I'm going to keep finishing it.

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 965 comments I read that; I liked it, but I felt absolutely no inclination to read the next book :/

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 297 comments I'm reading Revolution right now. It's quite good, though a bit on the overly angsty side.

message 5: by Cody (new)

(Just the first one that popped into my head :P)

*Mrs. Brightside* Cool! Is this fate or revenge?

message 14: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 965 comments Revenge, muahahaha.
There's a song called In Fate's Hands by RJA...but it doesn't actually have that much to do with fate :P

*Mrs. Brightside* Lol. Er >.< I need more fate songs! Damn this assignment! But I'll keep searching(:

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 965 comments Ohohoh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE A (sort of) FATE SONG!!!
It's called In the Shadows, by The Rasmus ^-^

*Mrs. Brightside* I will search for it tonight!

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 965 comments Alright ^-^
What's your project? :/

*Mrs. Brightside* Stupid English /: Read a revenge or fate book, look for a song that is reveng or fate, discuss how revenge or fate is in the book/song, and write examples of parts of the song/book. I rather do book reports.

message 20: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 965 comments o.o ...That's such an odd project. xP

*Mrs. Brightside* Haha. It's not fun /: I'm tempted not to do it...but I'm forcing myself to continue.

message 22: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

Cody (rolinor) Dante's Inferno is creepy... really good but creepy lol

message 26: by mike jay (new)

mike jay (mikeaj) I just finished Heaven's My Destination: A Novel by Thornton Wilder. Very humorous and at times touching. The main character comes off as "Gumpish".

Here's a review I found on Amazon...
"Meet George Marvin Brush -- Don Quixote come to Main Street in the Great Depression, and one of Thornton Wilder's most memorable characters. George Brush, a traveling textbook salesman, is a fervent religious convert who is determined to lead a good life. With sad and sometimes hilarious consequences, his travels take him through smoking cars, bawdy houses, banks, and campgrounds from Texas to Illinois -- and into the soul of America itself".

Natalie I am reading unPlanned by Abby Johnson and Cindy Lambert. I am about to start it, but it is about the journey of the main administrator of planned parenthood (abortion clinics) and she changed one day when she was about to do an abortion and is completely religious and pro-life :) so excited to read it!!!!!

message 28: by Lee (new)

Lee Harmon (DubiousDisciple) | 21 comments Cody, have you ever read the book of Enoch? Some pretty Dante-like stuff in Jewish tradition, 200-300 years before Christ!

*Mrs. Brightside* I'm reading Beyond the Pale (Darkwing Chronicles, #1) by Savannah Russe which is kind of boring now. So here I come Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2) by Becca Fitzpatrick !

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 297 comments I'm reading "I am Number 4" for book club right now. Not the best, a bit cheesy, but fun. I am also reading Everwild and Fellowship of the Ring. I really do try to just read one at a time. It doesn't work.
