We Write discussion

I got the idea from the group Writers Who Are Children. Basically you just have to finish the sentence.

I'll start. You know you're a writer when you spen an hour trying to make one paragraph perfect.

instead of taking math notes you try writing a short story before the end of the period...

Your characters from your stories start to appear in your dreams...

when you wake up in the middle of the night with the perfect idea in you head or when you can translate your everyday life into a story. :)

When it's impossible for you to fall asleep at night because you are planning a new story you just started.

when your up all night long trying to get just that one chapter done.....(yawn)

When you want to write but you can't write cause your thinking about writing. XD

You know you're a writer when you're in the middle of writing an essay for English and get an amazing idea for a novel. You proceed to abandon your essay and start your novel.

When the teacher says you have to write a 5 paragraph essay and everyone in the class groans except you and upon seeing there reaction you react like "that's tiny" or "Can we write more?"... that is until you find out the subject of the essay is a memoir (unless you like memoirs...) or an essay on a book you hate at which time you proceed to groan.

You know you're a writer when you zone out while eating lunch and try to search for people who look like your characters.
