Ha!! Theresa, I can pick things up with my toes, too...and light a match, and other disgusting things. We won't go there.

Charity, I'm intrigued with this "Gingerbread Pumpkin Trifle"... is it difficult to make? What is a trifle?

A trifle is a layered dessert. It is super easy to make and makes everyone oooh and aaah because they think you're a culinary genius. I'd be happy to share the recipe.

We might have to start a thread for some recipes.

My husband loves having me do the dog and pony show with my toes. That sounds horrible, but it cracks him up what I can do and he'll ask me to pick stuff up in front of our friends. From there, it usually turns in to a "look what I can do with my tongue/ears/nose, etc" for other people.

He especially loves it when I do it without thinking about it. I drop something while doing the laundry, cleaning, etc, and I'll pick it up with my toes while keeping on with what I was doing. If he sees me do this, he'll laugh and point it out to me. :)

Ha! My husband does the same thing. He calls me 'Monkey Feet'...didn't include that little gem in my nicknames. I call him 'Hawk Toes' because he sits with his toes curled under his feet like he's perched on a branch. It's sickening.

P.S. My cousin has the same 'family feet' as me, but he takes it too far when he starts peeling bananas.
