The Voyage of the Dawn Treader I saw The Voyage of the Dawn Treader last weekend with a conservative christian friend who recently refused to see the Harry Potter movie because of witches. It was a good call not to see the Harry Potter film because it was a lousy movie, but after seeing The Dawn Treader, I am still puzzled why this fantasy is accepted by christians, but Harry Potter is not.
The "magical" rite of placing 7 swords on Aslan's table hardly seems christian. My friend gave me a withering look, too, when I asked her why it was that only the rat is allowed entrance into Aslan's land?
