The 104 Book Challenge - 2011 discussion

WOW! I am amazed at the amount of people that have joined this group this year. We all got to learn about some great books in our little group of 13 last year...can't wait to see how many new books we'll all be introduced to in 2011.

Because this group has grown above and beyond my expectations, I thought I'd spend a little more time going through the process of documenting your reads for the challenge.

Your reads must be documented in a topic of your own creation to be counted towards the challenge. Here is how to go about creating your topic:

1. In the "discussion board" header, you'll find some topic options. Click on the "new" link to create a topic of your own.

2. Give your topic a title. Use your name somewhere in the title so that it is clear whose discussion that particular thread belongs to. No need to select a folder to post your topic into.

2. Post a comment inside your discussion to document each book you've read. At a minimum, please include a number to indicate what book # of the year it is, the title and author. It is helpful if you post a link to the book and/or author by clicking on the "add book/author" link located at the top of the comment box in which your entering your comments.

Here is an example: 1. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

3. Repeat Step 2 often. :)

I'm randomly curious as to why 104 books and not 100? Is there significance? :)

There IS! It's equal to 2 books a week. Plus, I'm a quirky kinda girl. :)
