Brandy Hunt In the interest of perhaps getting a little more discussion on the board in the new year, I've decided to make a list of my all time favorite PA books, in no particular order.

1. The Stand by Stephen King
This is the first PA novel I ever read, and it made a huge impression on me. I still consider it one of King's best.
2. Wolf And Iron Gordon Dickson
The first time I read this I was amazed. I've since reread it a couple of times for inspiration in my own writing. The world is so well fleshed out and believalbe, and the idea of this sociologist managing to survive with the help of a wolf was mesmerizing, sort if he can than anyone can situation.
3. Eternity Road by Jack McDevitt
While I enjoyed this one, I doubt I will read it again. McDevitt's ideas on how civilization would restart itself are sound, but I dislike the idea of history repeating itself. I would have been more interested if he had created something newer as the basis of the beginning of society than ancient Rome.
4. Cell by Stephen King
I'm sure I could find a nice zombie novel to round this out, but I really like Cell, and it does have zombie elements (the phoners). It really did scare me, as far as cell phone use goes. I still won't have one on my person unless we are traveling.

Does anyone else have an all time favorite list?
