Though I consider myself to be a science-oriented person, I also acknowledge the limitations of science and its time-space-bound tools in terms of what can be measured, proved, repeated, touched, felt, or otherwise shown evidence of.
We all know that thoughts exist. But can science prove their existence by producing a text printout of WHAT one is thinking? I maintain that it cannot. Traces on a monitor indirectly showing brain activity in the form of waves or electrical pulses aren’t quite measuring or proving thoughts.
