This is bugging me.

I've figured out The Law, for those of you who've read my blog post on ~insanity~.

So, The Law is hard to explain.

I'mma use ~love~ as an example:
THERE IS NO ~LURRVVV~ OR ~LOVE~ because ~LOVE~ and ~love~ are two different things, because of the capitalization.

~insanity~ and ~insane~ are not the same.

~annoyance~ and ~annoyed~ are not the same.

It is the noun form of the verb/adjectives that are placed in between the tildes (~).

Okay, I have something to say. Oh, goody. This is the first actual rant. >.<

I'm so sick of people playing match-maker, telling me I need a boyfriend, telling me how great love is.

Here's my twisted, makes no sense, theory on love. Love doesn't exist. Love is just a longer, stronger version of lust. I'm only thirteen, and I'm strongly against relationships and 'love'.

Even my English teach is taking part in my love life, trying to set me up with people. WTF.

A couple weeks ago, I went to my friend's house to hang out, and a bunch of guys were calling her, they were at a party. Almost all of them were trying to convince her to break up with Bannon and date them, others told them that they loved her.

I came up in a conversation with Noah. He wanted a picture of me, so we took a picture of me and sent it. No big deal, right? Wrong.

Tyler (one of the guys at the party) called Kaylah. After she talked to him for a couple minutes, she gave me the phone and went to do something. This was our conversation;
Tyler: hullo?
Me: heyy
Tyler: who's this?
Me: this is Alyssa
Tyler: oh. Are you that girl that sent the picture of herself to Noah?
Me: yes...?
Tyler: well he thinks you're fine.
Me: *both disturbed and warmed* he thinks I'm what?!
Tyler; he thinks you're fine, and wants to date you.
*pause*
Me: he wants to what?!


Then Kaylah came back, thank god. Kaylah has been trying to get Noah and I together ever since. She even told me that he told her he wanted to date me.

Every girl (usually) can't wait to fall in love. Me? I retract, and it messes with my characters. It's screwed Rose up, even though she was already a little screwy, and it's also affected Sam. Though, Sam's reasons for retracting seem somewhat logicle.

I just don't want to jump into any relationships right now. Okay, yes I do flirt sometimes, and maybe having a boyfriend will help boost my self-confidence, but I'm just really nervous.

Ok, I have had a boyfriend before. I know how you feel, not wanting to date a guy. I made a big mistake dating my ex-boyfriend, so it is good to wait.

Tell them to keep the f*ck out of your business. >__<

Well, maybe not your English teacher. You could find a nicer way to say it like, "Mr./Mrs./Ms. [teacher], I'm fine, thanks for your concern."

I hate it when people try to do that to me, or when they think I'm dating the boys I hang out with. Last year, and falling into this year, people think I'm going out with Ken. >-< He's my unbiological brother, since Kim is our mom... ANYWAYS. People think I like Julian, but he's just a friend. People think, a friend in fact, I like Jay. -____-

A boyfriend would mean a large commitment, Silver. He'd be a little more demanding, as would you, if you two were already friends.

I've had an 'ex-boyfriend' too. That's the guy that held my hand the other day. I moved it because it was on my seat.

I don't think I'd mind dating my 'ex', if anyone.

My suggestion to you, and myself is to not date until you feel it is nessicary or until you want to.

I would thank the boy for the compliment. Thanks. And shrug your shoulder at any friend that says -- he wants to date you. That's gossip from a secondary source. So basically tell anyone who pulls that crap -- that's nice but it isn't true until he asks me but even then I'm simply not interested in dating right now. I have a lot of things going on in my life and dating would complicate it and not to mention I haven't time for such a committment. He's a good-looking boy. Maybe in the future I would be interested but now? No. And I would appreciate it if you didn't set me up on dates or try to hook me up. I'm fine right now. Thank you.

I would agree with Tanja. I would just say you aren't interested until you feel there is room in your life for a commitment that big.

Exactly, I don't WANT to end up like my character, Rose. Always regretting everything. (Yes, I Over do it when I RP her. Sorry.) But, and I'm ashamed to say this, I am curious to see what having a boyfriend is like. Curses.

I agree. I'm older than you Silvy, though by a year and a half, but I don't date. I mean, sure, I do look at guys and think about them, but I've never dated anyone.

I was curious to. I had one, but sometimes you will feel that you can't deal with the mess of a boyfriend.
That was why I don't have one anymore. It was all too hectic for me.

It bugs me. Especially because I don't waste my time with gossip like that. Why the frick do they need to know who I'm dating. -.-

o.o That is kinda weird. I'd be freaked out. I've had one friend who tried to set me up, but I rejected her offer, cuz I don't try dating. I might date in college, but not now.

Well, aparently Noah is REALLY interested. Tanja, there are two reasons why I don't think she's lying.

A) Kaylah doesn't lie to me like that. Ever.

B) Noah called my cell...but I missed his call

Well, we were SUPPOSED to be talking about me calling Glen a faggit and being sent to the office, but he ended up on the phone the whole time. I just sat around until he needed me fir something else.

Yeah but gossip has a way of changing through multiple people. I had a friend who was the younger sister of my crush. She'd tell me how much he talks about him and it SEEMED like he wanted to date me *BUT* b/c we were two different social circles at school . . . he wouldn't. But he sure did visit my house all the time to play video games or play soccer.

^had that problem with one if my friends, Brandon. We used to be best friends, until he started hanging with the popular guys. He saud stuff that really hurt me when he was around them, but was the guy I have had a crush on for about...two years now. He told me that he would be made fun of if they caught him hanging out with me. Broke my heart right in two.

Gotta learn to let it slide off your back. People are going to change. Some for the good and some for the worst. It's awful he turned around on you like that but if you stay true to yourself chances are guilt in the future will eat him up. I had this one girl who came to me a YEAR later after spending all year ridiculing me (she was my best friend) and apologized profusely over what happened.

He's definately not coming back. But it seems like he bounces back and forth between beung a bastard, and being my best friend again. It confuses me, and it feels like he's just toying with me.

Tell him that. Say he's confusing you. One minute it feels like he's your worst enemy b/c of X,Y,Z and the next your best bud. What does he want?

Silver, tell Kaylah that if Noah really wants to go out with you that he'll have to ask directly. And then say you honestly find him nice but you're certainly not ready. Dating causes you to panic and you have more in life to focus on than katowing to a guy.
