I love The Walking Dead! I have seen every episode. I can't wait for the new season to start.
One of the best shows on TV right now. I can't wait for the next season.
It's sooo lame that the first season only has six episodes! What's up with that?!
I know, I was so upset when it ended. I read hat next season will be twice as long, too bad we have to wait until next October.
Maybe they were seeing if it was a success before investing alot into it? Just a thought.
I think that was the plan too, has anyone read the comics?
@Amy Some of the cable channels follow a more BBC approach to television. Instead of commiting to what Americans consider a season (15-25 shows), the average British or Canadian season is 13 episodes, with shows like the The Walking Dead, more adult, shown later in the evening, usually running 6 episodes. For those series that address a smaller niche, like the new Sherlock, they only do three episodes, but usually those episodes are 90 minutes long.
This format is much cheaper. Start expecting more cable networks to start following the BBC soon.
Hey Brandy, good to know! I was wondering about that because I used to watch Being Human on BBC and the seasons were super short. Ha now I know why!

I haven't officially started watching yet, I have seen parts of the first season though. But I really enjoy Zombie thrillers, whether they be books, or shows or movies.
Me too! There was a marathon of all the episodes on a few nights ago, and let's just say I was a goner from that point haha. I'm now hopelessly addicted!
Yeah that was when I saw it, but I was working at the same time so I only saw a few minutes here and there. But from what I did see it looked awesome!
I heard a rumor they are going to so the next season during July. Which is much better than the previous schedule which had the second season airing in October again.
That would be so cool! It sucks when you have to wait at least six months between seasons, even worse when its longer!
