I believe that the creation story in the Bible is a parable...and we relive it time and time again. I think Alan Watts has a fascinating view of the Genesis creation story in his book "Myth and Ritual in Christianity." I also found Daniel Quinn's take on it interesting in "Ishmael."

I've never heard the point that we more or less relive the creation story again and again before. That's a really interesting point. Thank you. I love it when someone gives me something good to think about. :)

There is a lot of evidence for that too
There is a lot of evidence for that too

They both have creatures like centaurs, and Cerberus
They both have the river Styx which is basically the same thing in both
and there are some more.

Take for example comic books. Taking one religious text to be true when all others are demonstrably false is sort of like this:
"No, I don't believe superman is real, of course Batman is a fabrication, I'd never believe in the Green Lantern, oh but SPIDER-man, now THAT's real."

They both have creatures like centaurs, and Cerberus
They both have the river Styx..."
Micah the problem with your argument is your assumption that each religion has an equal amount of evidence both for and against it, which simply isn't the case. There is no reason to think that just because most religions are false, they are therefore all false.
