Nick | 3 comments I was suprised to find there was no group on this site dedicated to absurdism in general fiction so made one myslef: http://www.goodreads.com/groupshow/43...

it would be nice to have some discussions on the topic

Geoffrey | 11 comments Horror stories are not absurdist ventures. The ghosting of your proferred website is in the wrong genre, and in that only is your posting an absurd one.

I have just joined the group "Existentialism" and made myself moderator, in a brutally undemocratic fashion. The group is near death and needs some new life. I encourage you to join. I wanted to revive the group with a discussion of Sartre's Nausea during June. Is anyone interested?

Geoffrey | 11 comments It`s been so long since I read it, I have to bow out other than to say, despite my initial excitement at reading his books and plays, including NAUSEA, I pretty much have to agree with Vargas Llosa in his book MAKING WAVES. Sartre was a genius, but unfortunately he initially arrived at erroneous conclusions from false preconceptions, which he later retracted.
Of the two, Camus was the deeper. Sartre was but an intellectual gymnast, Camus was a liver.
