Here's the link to my "swap" shelf:

http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

But it's more a RABCK shelf. I don't need books in exchange, (although I am looking for anything by Margaret Frazer, specifically The Novice's Tale)

Send me a PM with your choice and your address :-)

Cheryl (cherylllr) BookCrossing is pretty much about sharing. Lots of us just send books out gratis, if another bookcrosser in our country asks nicely. We're using the term 'swap' here (I assume) because it's the goodreads activity of swap that we're comparing our activity with.

Of course, with goodreads it's not really exactly a direct swap either, but that's another discussion.

Exactly Cheryl, but if I put "available for RABCK" it doesn't convey the message to everyone (actually might confuse), whereas the BC-ers know what I mean by "swap".

Cheryl (cherylllr) Right. We're both talking about the same thing, trying to make sure Raluk68 and other readers get the idea. :)

DubaiReader | 20 comments Hi Hayes, your 'swap; shelf is not viewable as your're set to Private!
I'll request you as a Friend, but just so as you know :)

As to the discussion about swapping, I get your point, but I'd still rather send a book in return for one I take, seems only fair - unless the person is snowed under and doesn't want a return book, then, OK.
