Danielle Foxx had a concentrated look about her as she sat at a table, doing this night's Potions assignment

Tesseract was sitting on the other side, with a mountain of fiction books in front of her. She flipped the page of the book she was reading.

Shaye walked in and went straight to the back of the library--to the section of books marked "Muggles Books"

Tesseract glanced back towards Shaye, heading towards the muggle books. huh. that was exactly where she had gotten her books.

((reeaallyy)) Shaye did not notice the eyes upon her and continued to blithely turn the pages of her book

((wuut? Tesse is my only character that likes to read XD))

Tesseract turned the page of 'Gone With The Wind'. ((oh yeah, i went there.))

((yeah. she's my only character that likes to read. all my characters are little parts of me. Cecelia is just weird and obsessed with dragons. Tesse is a bit evil, an artist, and loves to read. Erin loves horses and anything that has to do with speed. Professor Noon loves animals. make more sense now?))

"Gone With The Wind..." she mumbled. she really wasn't the most social person. Besides, most people tended to judge her because she was in slytherin.

Tesse gave a small smile. "um.... well It's takes place in the south.... In the US... during their Civil war. It's a love story."

"oh. love story...doesnt ring any bells but maybe i should try it someday."

"yeah..." Tesse bit her lip, feeling the need to make conversation. "um...so you like muggle books?"

"yea, my parents had me read a lot of them when I was little and I got attached." she replied. ((and.. No? Uh.. Well she will read it so then we both would have read it. So that counts right? So yes.))

Rory sat at a chair, totally absorbed in her studying world, not to be distracted by others.

Shaye glanced over at a girl sitting in a chair. "Maybe we could finish this conversation at another time...it looks like that girl is trying to concentrate." she said to Tessa

"um yeah..." said Tesse, unsure of what to do. She looked around "you don't suppose that librarian git is around?"

"no, why?"

Tesse gave a quick grin "she's not really a fan of me. actually i'm not even allowed in the library anymore." She stood up, and with a flick of her wand all the books (besides the one she was holding) started floating away to their places on the shelves. She turned her torso, ready to run. "you see, I dont give em' back."

((Rachel.. where were you when Symphony rehearsal was goin on?? As a section leader, it's my responsibility to make sure you peoples attend.. So next time be there or be square. :))

Tesse barked a laugh. "yes. yes i do." and she ran for it. out of the library, off to who knows where.

"KBYEE!"

A ghostly figure mopingly glided out from behind a large stack of dusty books and began to glance at the different titles on the shelves. It was Swimmy, one of the many Hogwarts ghosts. He reached out to pick up a book titled, "The Elf Theory" but as soon as he picked it up, it just fell through his glowing green hands. Swimmy sighed.

((ah. That's depressing.))

Nyx arrived in the library for the scavenger hunt before Odetta did. She looked for Swimmy, and saw him staring at a book, looking depressed.

Odetta galloped in and turned back into her normal self. "Oh, hi, Swimmy!" she said brightly to the depressed looking ghost.
"Hello, Odetta," he responded drearily. "I suppose there's something that you two want from me, or else you wouldn't have taken the trouble of coming down here."
"Actually, yes! There is! Do you remember when you told me about your magic whistle? Well, we need it for Weston's charms class."
Swimmy stood for a moment, or rather, floated, and said, "I was complaining that I couldn't pick it up. How in the world could you think that I'm carrying it with me?" He narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Never mind, because as luck would have it, I placed it in the Restricted Section before I died. Good day to you."
As Odetta made her way to the Restricted Section, she quietly said to Nyx "Don't worry about him. He's just in one of his moods. He's usually pretty happy."

"Um, OK," replied Nyx, "But just one problem: how exactly are we to get into the Restricted Section? You're still a fourth year, so I don't think you understand exactly how strict the librarian is," said Nyx.

Just then Tesseract slinked in. "I think I can help with that...."

"AH!" screamed Odetta. She gasped and put a hand over her chest. "Oh, Tesseract!" she panted. "You almost gave me a heart attack!"
