Katrina entered the vineyard randomly. She did not even know they had a vineyard. She sighed, picking a grape from one of the trees. Katrina popped it into her mouth. She did not care much for grapes, but this one seemed to be very juicy. She let the juice from the grape roll around on her tongue for a moment before swallowing it.
Somehow she found herself longing for someone to enter. Katrina could not remember the last time she spoke to anyone. She smiled to herself darkly, despite her loneliness.

Clarity ran into the grapevine, searching for something, someone. She stumbled into Katrina's row of grapes. She stood up, and stared at her until she said "Oh, hey. Didn't see you there..."

Jaidon lounged on the ground in the shadows of the grape trees, taking salvation from the hot summer sun. His hair was in that wild, jungle boy look and his hands were dirtied from...whatever.
"Hey." Clarity stumbled over a rock and landed arms sprawled on the vine. Bringing her upper body back up, she saw a new face. She immediatly panicked...but stayed where she was.
Coming from the cool atmosphere of the creek, Hayley warmed her chilled arms in the heat of the sun. Trying to catch minnows had not gone successfully, and the water was freezing. Coming to the vineyard allowed for a snack (as long as you could tell apart the wine grapes from table grapes), and a little light magic practice.
In try to manipulate a sunbeam, little did she notice the boy laying on the ground and tripped over his leg. Stumbling into a vine, she whirled to look irritably at Jaidon.
"Watch it."

"Watch it."
"Uh...." Clarity stood frozen, just looking at Hayley. "Seems like everyone trips here!" She extended a helpful hand, but stops. "but, seriously, I don't think he meant to get in the way.."
Jaidon raised his eyebrows challengingly, he sat up. "Why should I watch it? I was here first." He retorted.
Clarity began to pace slowly, thinking to herself "Should I help, or should I just go..." She stopped to watch it unfold. "Okay, i'll just help if things turn ugly.." she kept telling herself.
"I didn't ask if you were here first." Hayley spared Clarity her annoyance, dropping her shoulders in a passive shrug. "It's not my fault he was lying on the ground where people tend to walk."
"It's not my fault you don't watch where your monstorous feet land." He protested, squinting at the girl in the glare of the sun.
'It's okay...Just chalk it up to a disagreement..." Clarity said.
"Monstrous? I'll have you know that I take dance and my feet are anything but," Hayley retorted pointedly. "I suggest you keep the so-called insults to a minimum, you don't want to get on my bad-side." The heat of the sun rays around them seemed to intensify as she spoke, levels or irritation rising.
"Sorry...Just trying to help." Clarity stuttered. She tried to be helpful, but always came out being annoying. She sat down in the cool shadow of the vine.
Jadion stood, glaring at the girl. "I bet you knocked everyone's socks off when they watched you dance." His hand instinctively twitched, reaching for the bracelet on his wrist. "And my insults are just starting up, because your threat is almost close to nothing, if not completely." He added.
"Wow." This was the kind of situation that Clarity did NOT want to unfold. "I have to do something..." She kept running the possibilities in her head as she thought this.
Annoyance with both the boy and herself grew inside Hayley. If I had more control over my magic I could fry you to a crisp, maybe, I don't know. The threat was lame, even in her head. Still, the glare of the sun got a tad hotter around them, and sweat started to form on her brow.
"Watch yourself unless you want an arrow somewhere arrows definitely do not belong."
"Watch yourself unless you want an arrow somewhere arrows definitely do not belong."
"You're thinking about my dick right now are you?" He wickedly grinned. "I guess I should blush." He said, pursing his lips.
Clarity stood. "I'll have you know, mister, that Hayley is one of the BEST dancers I have ever seen. You just havn't had the pleasure to see her yet! She is also great at archery, so take the threat literally!"
"You know, that would be sick if you were man enough to have one." His grin was echoed on her face, though on her it was sweet, so sickly sweet.
Jaidon turned to Clarity. "Do I know you?" He spat, irritation growing on his face. He turned back to Hayley (I alsmost siad Van). "Well then what were you talking about?" He wondered, letting her comment slide.
"Yo, leave her alone. At least she knows what she's talking about," Hayley said. If you stood up her for, you could expect the same kind of support back. "And don't have a clever little comeback, eh?"
"Why would you? I don't socialize with the likes of people like you!" Clarity equally fueled the ever growing fire.
"No answer?" He asked. "Well then, maybe you do believe I have one, if you can say it without making yourself blush."
"I don't even blush in one-hundred degree weather, babe," Hayley replied with false sincerity, the heat of the two half-sisters growing. "Daughter of Apollo."
"Son of Harmonia." He replied. He squinted more, scanning her. "Well ya certainly got a way with words." He added, nodding.
"Nice!"
Hayley cooled down, mentally and physically, eying him with a skeptical expression. "I've been told I have a sharp tongue," she said, shrugging.
"No, do you ever stop making rude comments and making enemies when you could really be making friends and benefiting not only yourself but the other people around you?" Clarity said this quickly, without even stopping to breathe. "And, you know, I'm never going to stop talking even though you so rudely asked me to stop, beecause I just DON'T listen to rude people. sO, THERE! Are you happy now?" Clarity could feel the anger rising, and she couldn't stop it. It wasn't really a comeback, just the way she was feeling.
Jaidon turned to Clarity, pursing his lips. "Go away." He said bluntly, making an appalled face.
"Well you've been told correctly." He advised. "Now I have to go, but see you around camp." He winked jokingly and jogged away.

"Ugh!" Clarity kicked a nearby vine with her vans..."ASSHOLE!" She needed to get away, before it got worse."It IS the truth....." She stayed where she was, waiting for a sign from Hayley
"I hope you trip!" Hayley called, whether she was teasing or not was a mystery judging from the perfectly serious expression on her face.
"Calm down, Clarity. He's no more a douche than myself," she said with a shrug, placing a hand on her half sister's shoulder.
"Calm down, Clarity. He's no more a douche than myself," she said with a shrug, placing a hand on her half sister's shoulder.
"Thanks, I just....don't understand. How can someone...be that way. You're not a douche either." Clarity sighed, her whole body shaking.
Hayley patted her shoulder in an attempt to calm her. "Dude, calm down, seriously. And I am a douche, a douche with class."
"Fine, fine." Clarity calmed herself. Now, she felt like herself, normal. It was that easy for her, to just shrug it off, but everytime something happened, it left a lasting impression on her. "I got to go. I'm sure I'll see you later. And, please...don't trip over anymore legs..." her facial expression was serious, when she said this. She ran away, with each step getting faster and faster, till she was gone.
"Oh my gods, its like it was my fault and my fault alone." Putting a hand over her face in frustration, Hayley sighed and shook her head. She felt even less acceptance toward her siblings now; it was a fun little argument until someone started taking things seriously.
"It takes skill to trip over things, right, Dad?" The call echoed through the vines, and somewhere in the distance, Hayley swore she heard a faint rumble.

As Jaidon exited the entrance, he smirked at the accusations of being an as*hole. I'm simply a sport in a charming game.
Clarity rushed into the vineyard. "oh GODS! Its YOU!" she turned and stared at Jaidon. She wanted to leave, to run away, but she stayed where she was.
Clarity entered the Vineyard. "This has become like my daily hangout." She told herself, as she walked by the tree that Jaidon sat at yesterday. She replayed the situation in her head. "I better not see him." She muttered, and kicked a nearby rock with her shoe. She dropped down where he sat before.
