With all the series novels in crime fiction, have you ever worried that the next book you pick up from the series is going to fall flat?
Tess Monaghan? Jack Reacher? Matt Scudder? Taylor Jackson? Irwin M. Fletcher? Joe Pitt? Parker?
Have you read the first three books, hit a snag with number four, then had to force yourself into the fifth?
Did one book in a series kill the series for you?
No need to name names, of course. Just the reading experience.
