I think it should still be Dumbledore's Army. Pax's Army doesn't have the same ring to it.

Nyx entered the Room of Requirement. She waited for the rest of the members to show up.

Odetta comes in. She can't wait to learn how to cast a patronus. I bet it's a zebra, she thought

Odetta waved back. "I dunno, but I hope it has to do with patronuses!"

Tesse strolled on, her sister Erin on her heels. Tesse had her rat Mello, on her shoulder.

"Hey, you brought Mello!" cheered Odetta as she ran over to Tesse.

"course" said Tesse with a crooked smile. "So you know what we're doin' today?"

Cecelia walked in with a dazed look on her face....

"I hope it's patronuses!" she answered. Odetta saw Cecelia's confusion, and said, "What's wrong? Oh, is this your first time in here? Yeah, the first time I saw that door appear I almost screamed."

"I bet mine is a zebra!" laughed Odetta.

"mine is a dragon." Cecelia said confidently. "what else could be...? But I wonder what kind..." Erin ruffled Cecelia's golden locks. "don't mind her, she's a bit weird." she smiled. "I haven't the slightest idea what my protronus is..." "me either" tesse said while looking down.

((I'm getting a real "Luna Lockheart" feeling from Cecelia! :D ))

"Oh, they help you defend yourself from dementors!" Odetta said helpfully.

(("Luna lovegood" you mean?XD yes they have some similar personalities))

"Who is going to teach us?" Tesse asked

"I don't know..." Odetta responded.

((somebodys adult character should do it.... I guess Noon could. Unless anybody else wants to?))

Carley strutted in with Courtney at her side. Shortly Danielle, Isabella and Duke showed up.
Carley walked up to the front of the room, calling everyone's attention to her.
"Heard you guys were looking for a leader.... So, naturally, I showed up." She smirked and said, "I may not seem like the typical leader, especially for an organization like this, but you guys obviously don't know me very well if that's the case."

((Oh it is ON In a matter similar to that of donkey kong!!!))

Tesse lept up to her closest friend. ((excuse the slight language)) "oh HAAAIIL to the no! You ain't running anything. If anybody should be leader, it should be a gryffindor. Common sense. I don't trust slytherins." everybody gave her a weird look. "THAT'S RIGHT! DONT TRUST ME! it's for your own good." Erin took a step foward and gave a confident look. "I'm willing to take ANYTHING on. So choose me as your leader." ((defenitely suits her leader-like personality :P))

Nyx stepped forward. "Well, I'm not in Gryffindor, but I can sub until we have a proper teacher. I know how to make a Patronus, so if you guys want, I could teach you. Not to compete or anything with Erin. If she want to teach I guess she could."

"Hey!" burst out Odetta. "You should be our permanent leader! This is a student group, you seem to know a lot about defense, and you're the Headmistress's sister!"

"No way," said Nyx. "If it's OK with Erin, and everyone else, I could MAYBE be her assistant, but I am not a leader."

"Sure you are!" persisted Odetta. "You're Pax's sister for crying out loud! If anyone is fit to lead us, it's you!"

((NOOO... did i make a reference without knowing it?))

"if she doesn't want to be leader, we can't force her..." Erin said. She turned to speak directly to Nyx. "But you DO have the brains. i could DEFINITELY use your help as my assistant. Especially because I don't know how to make a patronus." Erin held out her hand towards Nyx. "well? will you be my #2?"

Danielle jumped into the conversation. "Woah woah woah, have you guys completely forgotten about Isabella Bartowski? No offense to Nyx or Erin, but I think she's our best bet... in terms of responsibility, dedication, and most importantly, her omniscient knowledge of spells!"

"True. She would be good for the job, but I personally think Nyx would make for the perfect leader." Duke winked at Nyx.

Tesse's eyes flashed and her nostrils flared. "look, if there's anything my sister can do, it's lead. As long as she's got people backing her up, she'll be the best dang leader you'll ever see." Tesse stepped beside Erin. "I stand by Erin Tomson as her transfiguration and weapons specialist." she looked around, gazing into everybody's eyes. "who else will stand by her?"

Carley stepped up. "I'm with Tesse."

((woot woot! *glomps palmtree*))

Tesse gave Carley a look like she was about to die of sheer happiness. "thank you" she mouthed.

((uh guys, shouldn't we hurry up with the patronus thing so we can use them at the Yule ball?))

"let's make some patronuses." Erin said.

((Right, right, right.))

"Sure," said Nyx. "And I will be your second, if you want."

Erin smiled. "all right! The floor's all yours."

"OK," Nyx replied. "Alright everyone. The first thing you need to do is find a memory. It can be any memory, as long as it's really good. Tell me when you have it, then we can move on."

((Yule ball is moving a bit fast so maybe we should just call the patronus thing done?))

((Yeah sure.))

-------SEVERAL DAYS LATER (Day before Yule Ball)-----

*everyone can make some form of Patronus, most can make the whole animal thing* (add what animal to your character's profile, if you like)

Fleranda walked in and yelled "Expecto Patronum" out of the tip of her wand a centaur burst out and galloped around than was sucked back into her wand. Behind her Dreadr looked smug. Fleranda turned around and they high-fived each other. Then she looked at all of the D.A. students finally stopping and staring at Tesse. Directing her voice towards Tesse she said, "By the way, in the library I forgot to mention Dreadr's my cousin!"

Nyx practiced Expecto Patronum charm some more. She had mastered it long ago, but she still enjoyed seeing her beautiful panther come out of the tip of her wand.

((wait I'm confused, is your character here to get back at Tesse for being mean to Dreadr?))

((ok soo.... lets have all of this happen on a different time plane then the yule ball and stuff for a while))

Tesse frowned. "what do you want? you can't just waltz in here... who told you where this was?"

"Told ME WHERE this is? No one, I just guessed... Most people don't disappear into walls... I also here people talking of this all the time. and eventually I figured it out... I'm sorry if I look like a big idiot. I just felt kinda "left out."

Dreadr was the picture of innocence behind Fleranda and while Tesse's gaze was directed away from her Dreadr took the time to read her mind...
