A History of Royals discussion

SCOTTISH MONARCHY

with 15 votes, barely beating out Royalty in Myth and Legend which had 14 votes. Please nominate up to two books focusing on the Scottish Monarchy at any period in history. I'd like to second the nomination for Queen Hereafter: A Novel of Margaret of Scotland by Susan Fraser King.

But either of the above two would also be fine :-).

Even though I'm not feeling Mary Queen of Scots at this particular moment, that doesn't mean that I won't feel like reading more about her in April or May. So that being said, I'd like to nominate Mary Queen of Scots by Antonia Fraser.

WOW - have you guys looked at the Margaret George book? It is a hefty one, lol. JUST KIDDING, it is hefty, but I love Margaret George's writing.

LOL Thalia... you wouldn't mean The Other Queen, by any chance? I agree about the drivel... I noticed that, too but then remembered it was a group read on THL not long ago... maybe that's why it's absent from the noms?
