Jessica Hello everyone! My name is Jessica. I'm 29 and I'm from Missouri. I've had a Goodreads account for awhile, but have just decided to start using it.

I really love reading Young Adult lit, so this group is exactly what I'm looking for. I would say that I probably read more on the fantasy/dystopia side of YA, but recently I've been reading more contemporary.

Great to be here. :)

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) Welcome, Jessica! You've found the right group for YA discussion. My favorite genre is fastasy/dystopia too. Have you read The Knife of Never Letting Go? It's my favorite!

I haven't read The Knife of Never Letting Go, and it's not even in my constantly growing pile of books to be read. I know I've heard people talking about it, but I think that it's one of those books that I heard a lot about without ever actually figuring out what it was about. So I'll have to look into it.

I feel like I've read some really amazing YA books recently, and the only bad thing about that is trying to find something to read next. Because really amazing books can sometimes make books that are 'just good' disappointing. So I love recommendations!

So true. My to be read list is growing exponentially faster than I am able to read. If I was able to read all day, every day it would still take me years to get through them all!

Leah (gretchen_ross) | 32 comments Hi Jessica! After joining this group, my already hefy to-read pile grew at least twice as big, so beware. :D

Hope to see you around the forums!
