It's by far the best venue for book talking, seeing as it's all about books. How's the groups software treating you?

I'm excited about using Goodreads! I have actually tried several forums and they all felt clunky and difficult to use. And yes, Goodreads seems quite appropriate for book conversations ;-)

Goodreads is a fun place but still a little confusing to me, but then I have been a member for only ? months (well, some of us are a little slow). Hey, Scott, I've seen you elsewhere! How is that Liquid Fear coming along?

Anyone know where you can get the POI Android app. I downloaded it a while back and now I need to install it on my new phone, and it is gone... :( Any help would be great!!

Hi Josef, sorry, the POI Android app broke due to development issues, so it's no longer available.

Hi Sharon! Hi all!
I'm new to Goodreads, but I've been reading the POI newsletter for ages. I'd say I was filling my kindle as a result, but it'd be a lie - I almost never get my hands on the damn thing! My wife kind of fell in love with it, and now defends it with a ferocity I've only seen her display around chocolate. So... instead I'm filling up my phone!
What would we do without Kindle reading apps, eh?
I'm also a POI author, having been lucky enough to get a book I wrote featured on those hallowed pages! And it helped me out immensely :0)
So, looking forward to comparing notes with the rest of you folks (from the other side of the world - I'm in Perth, Australia at the mo!).

Hey Sharon! When did you set this group up on Goodreads? I absolutely love Pixel of Ink and all the work you do for us...thank you soooo much! So excited to have everyone on here too now so we can talk about all the free books we now have :D

Recommended POI to everyone!

What I'd like to be able to do is hide personal highlights. I share a Kindle account with my wife. She has a greater tendency than I to highlight things she likes. I'd rather not see those highlights, but as we share the account, they sync automatically an appear on both Kindles. Any way to turn THIS off? (Note: this isn't a topic of conflict between us -- at the end of the day it isn't a huge deal.)
