I found a really great freebie for my Kindle a couple of months ago called NO GOOD DEED. I recommend it, especially considering it's only .99 as of today! It's the first book of two, so finish it and start the next one, MARCH TO HELL, for just $2.99.

I look everywhere for book ideas. Magazines, online book club, POI and "amazon recommends" etc.

Jennifer, I'm new to this what are DTP's & POI
I belong to the old book of the month club and their prices are always cheaper than Amazon's. I read over the reviews, I keep a list and move books around on it. Whatever is number 1 they send to me around the 16th of the month. It cost 10.50 each for a hardback book and mostly I was getting large print (which is one of the reasons I wanted an e-reader). I participate in Good Reads First Reads Giveaways. Lucked out with a really good win the first time but some of the others I had to plow through. I have some favorite authors but I am learning to always read the reviews on here and Amazon. Got burned by ordering one of my favorite authors in spite of low rating at Amazon. I ended up giving it one star on Amazon.
Hi Karen,
I can answer that question for you!
DTB means Dead Tree Book, it references a paper book instead of eBook. And POI stands for Pixel of Ink - it's a nickname for this group and the Pixel of Ink website!

I have a kindle and I already have five pages of books downloaded. Some of the classics that I may want to re-read some day.
I still have my DTB shelves to read as well.
