Did you know that on this site is a listing, published by Goodreads, of popular books from other countries? I just had a look at it. Go: Explore; Goodreads Voice; Literature at Every Latitude. Given the topic of our group thought others here might be interested in this.

Lois Joy Hofmann (sailorstales) | 2 comments Thank you. I enjoy reading books from different countries. My husband and I sailed around the world on a catamaran for eight years, visiting 62 countries. The first of my trilogy "In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss: MAIDEN VOYAGE," was published in December, 2010. I am working on SAILING THE SOUTH PACIFIC now. In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss: Maiden Voyage

Thanks - that will be a good resource. I had no idea that existed. Another place I just found when looking for an English translation of Ru by Kim Thuy which was recommend to me by Elizabeth is www.wordswithoutborder.org. It is a great site for new and old older books from around the world. Some are not yet in English, but others are or there are partial translations on the site. It is very interesting.

Molly Thompson Another resource list for books from around the world is here: http://www.politics-prose.com/fiction.... It's from a bookstore in DC, and I originally saw it on a map in the bookstore -in glad they have it online too!
