I think I've always liked him because of what he did in the second book. He left. He was trying to protect her. And then it's even more deep that when he thought she was dead, he went to the Volturi.
Oh, it's totally cliche, but in a good way.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
how you can say none?only those can say, who have no feeling at all

Completely agree with you Amy! That's what makes him so attractive to me as well. I understand that were talking about a fictional character, lol!
I agree, Edward has incredible self-control. He's strong enough even to rebel against his true nature out of love for Bella.
Amy wrote: "What I find the most attractive, is how he is supposed to be the most dangerous of predators, but yet he does everything he can to control himself, because he loves Bella so much. He said it himsel..."

I love the fact that in Edward's eyes, there is no other girl in the world. He only sees her. He wouldn't even consider another girl.
Also, I loved that in the third book when they were discussing imprinting, he says that it's still not as powerful as his feelings for her.

I can think of quite a few, but one of the best is the fact that his love for Bella was born out of something much deeper than just her appearance. He's the kind of man who's more interested in what's on the inside; the kind of person she is.
To me, this is attractive because this kind of love is unchanging. As Edward would know, physical beauty passes with time, but love that's based on a person's character and personality is the kind of love that never fades.
