Calling all Demigods! discussion

Hello CAD! group members!

As most of you have noticed, Usako is unfortunately been MIA for the past several weeks.

*waits for howling and tears to subside*

I know, I know. I miss her too. Hopefully she’ll be back ASAP and she’s doing OK.

But until then, we need replacements for the Trojan War! Her character, Deon, was in the place of Hector/Paris alongside Airlia as Helen/Penthesilea and Alex as Menelaus/Agamemnon.

If you have any recommendations/suggestions (don’t be shy to name your own characters! ^^) please post them here! I'll delete your comment and put it up here in the suggestions. And in the end we’ll do a group vote.

Yes, he does. No offense or anything, but I don't think that your charries should be picked because you are not active enough. I'm not trying to offend you.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

My idea is that instead of doing a charrie change we just do an adoption. What do I mean? I am trying to say that we get certain people to adopt Usako's charries instead of being stuck in predicament. I have an idea for determining who will 'adopt' which charrie. We could make every active member, except for the ones who are connected to them, try out for the charrie, and see who RPs in a manner that is most similar to Usako's style for each charrie. Like I said, certain people can't try out if they have a charrie who RP'ed often with one of her charries. For example, Whim should not try out for Deon, because she has Airlia, nor Dante, because she has Aureline. The mods could decide who fits each charrie best. Do you get what I'm saying? No? Then, you can PM me. Don't like my idea? Then, just post another idea instead. Mods, please tell me what you think.

Guys, I know I'm not a mod, but I really want to RP. Frege and Usako left or have disappeared, and they had a lot of their Charries in the TWR. We need to get new charries soon! :(

I volunteer Matt as Menelaus, if you haven't already decided. Or Tom as Hecter. But this is only if no one else wants the part, seeing as I'm not the most active rper.

I'm kind of confused that a "Trojan War" character can be rped by "CAD" charrie of opposite sex. How does that work?

Ex - Menelaus can be a girl. Helen can be a boy. Or girl. Sex doesn't matter.

Right. I got that part, but it doesn't seem to fit with the character. The thought of a boy playing Helen is...odd.

Hey, its the 21st century. Girls don't have to play the Damsel in Distress part anymore. It could be "Peach, your plumber is in another castle" now.

Granted. But that wouldn't it affect all the other characters (unless they're gay). For example, to have Helen as..*checks above suggestions*...Ajax, all characters in-love with "Helen" would have to be female.
Don't get me wrong, I know some charries that are over zelous when it comes to war. But are there enough to fit the roles?

We're all creative, I'm sure we'll be able to figure everything out.

So do we still need to volunteer people, are we finally starting this? XD

Yes, but only two characters are in love with Helen - Menelaus and Paris, and we can always twist the story. I wish this thing had worked.

Iso and I thought we should give it a try- especially now that you and several others are back on. Some people will obviously have to be replaced with some different characters, but we were hoping it could work.

What about Usako, though?

Yeah :( I dunno. We'll have to check how enthusiastic everyone is about it.

And there aren't that many people to check with, unfortunately. :(

I think it's certainly worth a shot. Worst comes to worst, it doesn't work out and we either let it die or just start brand new, fresh, the works.

I hope not, it was a terrific idea.
