Along Came a Spider discussion

After reading this, I was still puzzled as to why it was Called "Along Came a Spider."

Little Miss Muffett sat on a tuffett,
Eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider and sat down beside her,
Frightening Miss Muffett away.

That's the rhyme. Does it seem to you to have anything to do with the book?

Not really.. was this quote mentioned in the book?

the little girl in d book was little miss muffet and so the kidnapper was the spider.....so d book name along came the spider......

I don't remember if the book made it clear , but the movie referenced the title and poem at the end. There was a crime in progress when the "spider" came along. Any more would constitute a spoiler.
