message 13: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Good.
Because if you did....
I would be forced to question your misery.

message 14: by Juli (new)

Juli | 44 comments i would never dare give anyone reason to question my misery!

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I love it so much!!!! On page 170.....and I just almost started crying in class with the whole Fantine giving up Cosette, and they treat her like crap!!!!!! *Tear-Jerker!*

message 16: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I know, I know!
They are so mean.
*Sob*

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree! And, Eponine! Now, I think i'm starting to hate her!@!!!! Jeez....I'm sure i'm going to start crying when Fantine dies...I can just feel it...

message 18: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I did.
I cried through the whole book, especially the ending.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh....I'm sorry! I will cry too....and we can cry together.....Oh, the misery...Yet, I can't get enough!

message 20: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid We are wallowing in misery. And yet, the more I wallow, the more I want.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha! But, it's so true! Everyone thinks i'm crazy for reading such a big book, but I don't listen. It is worth it! I will then be able to call myself a true Les Mis Fan! Oh, by the way, I must leave you....Band Dress Rehearsal. But, thanks for this discussion! Lets continue later!

message 22: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I know. People don't understand what is so attractive about the story. They say I have issues and am just depressing.

message 31: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Do you hear the people sing? Say do you hear the distant drums?

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

AT THE END OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!

message 33: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid At the end of the day, there'll be misery. And the people will sing only songs from Les Mis.
We'll be happy and yet sad.
We'll be singing and belting the tunes.
We'll be spreading les mis...
At the end of the day.

It kind of fits into the song. Kind of...

message 37: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) Has anyone watched Forbidden Broadway Les Mis? They have a spoof of At the end of the day. You might enjoy it.

message 38: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) Has anyone here seen Forbidden Broadway Les Miz? It's awesome by the way...well some of the songs are..but not all of them. Ask me for song titles.

message 39: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Never heard of it.

message 40: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) On My Phone is a spoof off On My Own and here's a link to the song, it's clearly enough for you to hear the lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USWA6k...

There's more songs..more like spoofs of Les Mis out there.

message 49: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) My sister is ahead of me in reading it...I couldn't help but put it down for a longer time then I wanted, it got so dull though but I'll keep on reading it.
