Which 10 books would you want to have with you?

Yes, only 10. >;) So, which favorites would you like to have with you to re-read until your hero came to rescue you? If there's a specific reason, please share those too.

Lisa M (lamessegee) | 171 comments I'd have to take a series instead of a book here and there. But which series? Dark-Hunter, which is near and dear to my heart because it was my first love, is too long. Therefore I'll go with another favorite, LOTU.

The Darkest Fire (Lords of the Underworld, #0.5 Prequel) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Kiss (Lords of the Underworld, #2) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Pleasure (Lords of the Underworld, #3) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Prison (Lords of the Underworld, #3.5) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Whisper (Lords of the Underworld, #4) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Passion (Lords of the Underworld, #5) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Lie (Lords of the Underworld, #6) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Secret (Lords of the Underworld, #7) by Gena Showalter The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld, #8) by Gena Showalter
I'm assuming I'm going to be stranded after July 11th, when The Darkest Surrender comes out. ;)

Spell of the Highlander (Highlander, #7) by Karen Marie Moning 5. Demon Angel (The Guardians, #1) by Meljean Brook 6. Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost 7. Echo by Francesca Lia Block 8. Primavera by Francesca Lia Block 9. Sirena by Donna Jo Napoli 10. Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Ah, sweet Josie, I didn't mean to be cruel. :)

Great choice, Lisa. I love that series. I like your arrival assumption too. Gotta get as many in hand as possible.

Great list, Lethal. I'll have to look into those I haven't read.

LOL! We'll double-check your "STRANDED!" reservation and make sure that works out for ya!

And FINALLY starting LoTU this month...

Lethal's list is lovely, too! Some faves...and some I'm click-to-TBR-ing right now!

Louise Here are mine (I'd prefer to bring mainly books I have NOT yet read, but that look promising):

1. Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe 2. The Great Book of Amber (The Chronicles of Amber, #1-10) by Roger Zelazny 3. Michelle (michelle_mc) | 2158 comments In no particular order -

1. Hot Six (Stephanie Plum, #6) by Janet Evanovich Ranger always helps when I'm in need of a little happy!

2. Passion Unleashed (Demonica, #3) by Larissa Ione Wraith :)

3. Here Kitty, Kitty! (Magnus Pack, #3) by Shelly Laurenston This one makes me smile and lol and it has a Tiger!

4. Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels, #3) by Ilona Andrews Curran

5. Eat Prey Love (Love at Stake, #9) by Kerrelyn Sparks I do like Big Cats :)

6. Seize the Night (Dark-Hunter, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon Valerius & Tabitha's story. It's not brilliant but I love their interactions with each other.

7. Wild Card (Elite Ops, #1) by Lora Leigh I'd say this one is the only one that can be read as a stand alone. The rest refer back to the tempting seals series. I really liked Nathan/Noah.

8. Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep I just really enjoy this series, it's one I could read over & over :)

9. Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill Ethan... Morgan

10. Red-headed Stepchild (Sabina Kane, #1) by Jaye Wells Sabina Kane

So basically I've picked books that will make me laugh or cry. Females that inspire me not to give up & hot men that I'd love to keep me warm at night (but don't tell my Hubby!) :)
