So what did you guys think of the book? Whole reviews or comments are welcome.

I think the second half of the book was a lot better and more interesting than the first half. As in all of Neil Gaiman's books the characters were very believable. I liked the ending of the book and on the whole the book wasn't bad but it was missing that spark that you find in some brilliant literature or the spark that comes from a connection with one of the characters.

Laura (lorseng) | 17 comments Yeah, I simply enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't think of anything I didn't like about it, but it wasn't "wow". It was a good read.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there.

Bob Kublawi | 9 comments This was the first work I've read from Neil Gaiman. My two pre-teenage boys read this before I did and enjoyed it immensely. I can see why--the story was suspenseful without being too scary for kids, and the characters were interesting and the story moved along at a nice pace. I, too, thought the second half of the book was much more interesting, but only because as Bod aged and matured so did the story and dialogue and the plot twists. Although I would agree this wasn't a "wow" book, I would definitely be interested in reading any new additions to the series.

Jonna (jt-jones) I liked this one. maybe not one of my favourite books all time, but still very good

Mark Meyers (markmeyers) | 1 comments I enjoyed this one. This was my second Gaiman book after reading American Gods and some of the Sandman graphic novels. It does have an unusual premise and it's a great coming-of-age story for young readers.
