Fantasy Book Club Series discussion

We've already touched on the increased roles of Arutha and Jimmy, as well as the decreased roles of Pug and Tomas. Well, as main protagonists, of course.

Amelia's comments made me think that we probably need a place to talk of the other characters. The side or supporting ones that we like or dislike. Maybe talk about the ones we'd like to see more of. Or less of, if it comes to that.

Here's a side character I'd like to read about: Anita. (I don't think it will be this book though.) She seems like such a fun person. I'm glad that she's going to marry Arutha. (Next chapter to read: the Wedding - so if something happens to thwart it - don't tell me.)

Also, where is Amos Trask? He was a fun one to read about too. Stealing the King's boat was priceless.

It seems like Laurie might be more of a main character in this book. So far anyway. He's been in the book qite a bit.

I just going to have to add it here again: Kasumi and the other stranded Kelewans. I want to know how they're adjusting to life in Midkemia.

I'd also like to know some more about Martin. The bastard son turned Duke with some awesome tracking skills and excellent relations with the elves. He'd be interesting to learn more about too.

Well, my one character turned into quite a few, but that's just how those things go usually isn't it?

I love love love Jimmy. Love him! I love the way his character progresses throughout the entire series, and just love him in general in this book. He's so cheeky and witty, at such a young age... Love him!

I like Caroline. She knows what she wants & is pretty stuck with her position, but still manages to stand out.

I missed Amos as well, but I think we see him in a later novel, correct?

I was pleased to find that guy (his name escapes me in the early morning fog) who turned warrior monk.

But the one glaring absence was Guy. I had hoped for more information on where he's hiding out and plotting.

Dulanec? Dulnac? or something... yeah, it was nice to see him appear in Sarth.
