I just started to read this book today...lol but I would love to hear from you on this...we can get a discussion going...

Jace and simon are my favourite characters of the entire series they are both hilarious and too cute

Jace, (OBVIOUSLY!) Magnus, Alec, Izzy, and Clary! They are my fav characters because:

A. They're all kick ass.
B. Jace is so hot (in my head. Well, this should be in everyone's heads... :P)
C. They're all awesome :3

Magnus is my favorite. No explanation needed. ;)

I also love Luke. He just seems like the type of person you could talk to about anything.

I think Clary is whiney and Isabelle can be um......abit heartless in some aspects. (She can be) but I don't hate her. I just don't perfer her. I perfer Maia. I think Simon is my favorite because he acts like my brother (facebook bro and real bro) but at the same time he acts like me and my friends. His love of anime attracts me, if he was real maybe he'd hang with me and my friends. He's someone anyone can relate to. Jace, in real life, would piss the hell off of everyone. Though he makes me laugh so he's on my top five, even if he pisses me off at the same time. Though Jace's character is more random than needed. Clary just pisses me off. Maia is a girl I'd like. She's like Leah from Twilight, and that's what I happen to enjoy. (I only like Leah and acob from twilight)

I like sebastian.

I think my favorite would have to be Simon. Hes the most realistic to me, hes finding trouble and gets into trouble...as does teenage boys everywhere lol I really dont like whiny characters like Alec and Clary.

I love Jace......he's so adorable and funny and just....Jace!!!! <3

I love Simon, well, Jace is amazing and impossible, but Simon is funny... he makes me smile, always!

My favorite characters are Jace and Simon. They are both so sarcastic, funny, and hot (At least in my mind) These characters are the type of people I wish were real and also I wish I knew them.

yeah,Jace is awesome for reasons that don't need to be explained,yet i never hated Simon i liked his character and i liked how he was very realistic

hmmmm. . . either magnus or jace. . . jace because he's just so amazing and funny and sarcastic and witty but then he's sweet at the same time and i feel so bad for him at times that i just wanna give him a big hug. magnus because he's just freaking hilarious!!!!!

JACE!!!<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 is my up most Favorite! hes just soooo cute and es soo i dont know entertaining with the way he says things and the way he acts but clary also because i think i relate to her personality and because shes cool!

of course he is! haha! after reading city of bones a few years ago my friends and i had a sleepover and two of us both had a dream involving jace and his flying motorcycle. . . sorta creepy, but totally understandable with jace involved!!!!

Yea I liked Maia and Simon too, but with jordan/kyle she sort of belongs with him

Alec hands-down is my favourite character. What I really liked about his character is that he is always trying to do the right thing irrespective of how he himself feels about it. He is always thinking about his family or the Clave first and then about it. The other characters like Jace or Clary or Izzy all always act about their own free will but Alec always thinks about what effect his actions would have first. Also, I really liked how his character has developed throughout the series. In the initial books he was really shy and always kept it to himself and as the series progressed, he became more self-confident.. and thats why he is my favourite character.

My favorute character is Magnus :3 Of course i like everyone else, but Jace for example gets a bit to self-hating in the later books so it's almost disturbing. But he also has so many awesome lines that you just HAVE to love him ;D
And Magnus...well, no explanation needed, he's just awesome.
But I also love Alec and Simon a lot, it's really hard to decide who I like most.

Jace, only because he has that sexy, bad-boy attitude that would turn anyone on. He seems tricky to understand though, if you want someone real, I'd go for Simon, he's a true friend. But Church is pretty awesome too, just because he's a kitty :)

My favorite would be Simon because I love the way he cares for Clary. I respect him for being strong and not shutting her off from his life just because she didn't feel the same way he did.

Jace, because obviously he is HOT AS HELL and so sweet, and Simon for his sense of humor and care for Clary. I'm on the 3rd book so there's not a lot I've learned about her yet, Magnus is good, Alec makes me angry sometimes... OH GOD HOW COULD I FORGET???? I LOVE Luke. He is so sweet and I don't even know how to explain it... but he does SO much for the ones he loves, and... oh Luke. <3

I kind of love Isabelle. She is such a strong character. She is not only physically strong because she is a shadowhunter, but also she keeps her family together. She's a lioness, protecting everybody. She protected her brother and his massive secret. She protects Jace in the sense that she backs him 100%. She holds herself and two other brothers together. Without Isabelle, the story would fall apart.

I think magnus is awesome! Because he doesnt care what people think about him and he isn't afraid to be himself. He is so fun and brutally honest lol and I lov that cassandra clare gives him tese halarious one liners LMAO!

I loe Isablle she is definitly my favorite female character, because she is so strong (because she has to be) and so indepndent and confident, but on the inside she actually has a lot of insecurities andse is very vulnerable, just like any normal teenge girl. And I really admire that she let herself be vulnerable to get Simon! And she is prety also lmao!

jace he is just amazing a total dick sometimes but that's why I love him he always has something witty and sarcastic to say and I just love it , mangus is to though I loved him like right away he is just as amazing as jace if not better I mean come on he wears glitter who doesn't love that ?

My favorite character is I think clary because she is really pretty nice and I like her story she tells
