that's OK:)

Laina (laineyru) be grateful for your writing class! I'm am green with jealously. Literally. (meaning I am wearing a green shirt, but that is beside the point!) I am currently suffering through another year of boring English (stupid, stupid district! holding me back!) and I would kill to be able to write for class finally.

Brigid ✩ all we do in english is... analyze stuff. it sucks. nothing creative. ever.

message 5: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) i like analyzing! but I hate when they make us cut it down so we don't have to write the whole paper. I do wish we had creative writing as a larger unit, but I love the technical writing, too, for the most part. that's why I want to go into cultural anthroplogy... imagine the amazing research papers you would get to write!!!

message 7: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ i luv english too; i just wish we could get more into the creative writing.

message 8: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Me too, Brigid! They spend the entire school year (almost) making you write essays, and rough drafts, and papers, and stuff that I won't ever use again after school! Bring on the creative stuff, please!

message 9: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ pleez!! XD we only got to write one creative writing thing last year, and it never even got graded. :(

message 10: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) I think it was worse for Kenzie.

But I got lucky. My teacher was a little weird...said once that he thought about us in the shower (not really his fault that his class was full of perverts...teehee. But somewhat his fault because he could have been more careful around a classroom of 8th graders)

Anyways...we actually did some really cool creative stuff. But we only did one essay, and he didn't actually teach us how to write it. We got an exact format to follow and it was sooo easy! I totally BSed half of it by leaving out half of the important info because it didn't support my view...and I got an A, just like literally everything else in the class, writing or lame worksheet that goes with the reading.

I was honestly one of his two best writers. It was funny one time, though, the other girl that was tied with me for best writer got in trouble for talking too much and she was supposed to come in during lunch and write an essay, and she didn't even care because she likes writing essays...

Ahhh, good times, good times. If I didn't have such an awesome teacher this year, I might miss his class. Although I didn't even like most of the people in it. Stupid classmates...(not that they actually were stupid, I just don't like them. Okay, one or two were actually stupid though...)
