I'd like to see more stories in this universe -- more from these cops and these players.
Not necessarily the next chapter, you know, just more with this world, some of these people. Clearly there are tons of great stories to tell here.

I was just thinking about this topic this morning... I'd be happy with a series. The place itself has a millon stories to be told and I think I would like to see these characters again.
Yes, I agree. I don't think that all of the characters should appear again in the next book and it shouldn't be a continuation of the story..but a pick up on a group of characters, turn 45 degrees and see where they go.Enough material there to keep going for years!
It's true that Philadelphia's characters could support an ongoing litany of engaging stories, in fact, Tafoya made a contribution to Akashic's PHILADELPHIA NOIR, if you need another fix.Tafoya is one of my closest friends, so I know there are no plans for these characters to live on, but it's safe to say his future work will continue to tap into his Philly roots.

As much as I liked the characters, I'd say no, mostly out of fear Orlando would become parody as so many PI/investigator characters tend to become

It wouldn't need to be Orlando. It could be one of the minor characters.
