Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer discussion

As I'm re-reading Breaking Dawn, I'm noticing lots of things being said about Jacob's mom. But I can't remember if we ever learned how she died? Some of the things make it sound like it might have been somehow related to all of the vampire/werewolf stuff. Can anyone clear this up for me? Or am I right that it wasn't really approached until this last book?

Yeah, Stephenie needs to continue this story, I think is should be through Jacob, and explain this a little more. The only thing that I remember is they claimed it was a car accident but it made it sound like that wasn't the actual cause of death.

She is still writing Midnight Sun, there are about 264 pages on her website. But you know, it all 'bout Edward. I hope she does add more details about Jacobs mom, maybe she expects us to figure it out... hmmm....

Aimee I read about a week ago that she has put Midnight Sun on the shelf indefinately since it was leaked by someone she trusted and that was why she posted on her site the unfinished work, since she wasn't going to finish. Has she changed her mind a decided to continue writing it?

Laura: I'm pretty sure she'll keep writing it... Well, at least I hope so... I wont only be disappointed if she doesn't continue writing it, but pretty angry that someone she trusted leaked all those chapters!!

yeah, apparently shes not going to finish midnight sun because of the leak, i really wish she would carry it on. it very unlikly considering she has posted it on her website, i read the 264 pages of it and i think she should carry on, but i doubt shes going to listen to me lol
i really havent heard anything about jacobs mom, i think there are alot of unanswered questions...like whos sams dad??

no, she said she's going to finish and publish midnight sun. go to her website and look at the midnight sun page. the note about finishing the book is under the pdf file of the partial draft.

well it can't go on our callenders yet because there is no date to finish it... it might take a long time... but I CAN'T WAIT...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but just some of the stuff in Breaking Dawn made me wonder if there was more to it.

I also think there's more of the story to continue in terms of Renessme and Jacob's relationhip. And with the other half immortal Amazon guy (Haluen? I can't remember how to spell it). When I finished Breaking Dawn, the first thing I thought was Stephenie is gonna write more about this world. Just not necessarily with Edward/Bella at the center.

she said she wanted to write eclipse from Bree's point of view, with the new borns and riley and victoria. she said she wanted to take a break from forks though... so were stuck with just what we've got for right now...

and midnight sun=next spring/summer.... but no deadline... so it could take a long long time...

sides, what's the point if edward and bella aren't the center!!!!
