Lee Pritchett (lee_pritchett) | 10 comments I'm reading The Night of the Solstice by L.J. Smith. It's really good. It's got a definite, classic sort of narnian, c.s. lewis style in the way its written. I'ts pretty exciting.

Ooohh!! You've bought Flowers for Alys Ellie? Let me know what it's like!

message 10: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (elliearcher) I already read it-one sitting. I couldn't stop.

(Maybe it was 2 sittings? But close together? Anyway...)

I loved it. A kind of fairy tale but I can't say any more about it without risking spoilers. But very much around the subject of difference & fear but without becoming a "message" book, just a book that conveys a message embedded in the story.

But read it. It's soooo worth it.
I think.
