1. Date Your Mate Month
May is known as date your mate month, for this category select a book where you would like/love to be the "mate" of one of the characters, or a book where there is a focus on the idea of mates (i.e. most shifter books are like this)

2. Pack Rat Day
May 17 is Pack Rat Day. Read a book that has been on your TBR for a significant period of time (for the purpose of this, the longer the better, but at least six months) and celebrate being a pack rat (I know I'm one for sure ;) )

3. Body Arts Painting Festival
May 27 is the annual body arts festival, read a book where if you were attending this festival you would like to paint the individual on the cover

4. No Socks/ Have a Coke Day
May 8 is no socks, have a coke day...so get comfortable, grab a soda (or other drink of choice) and curl up on the couch to read something that just interests you
