The Poisoner's Handbook: Murder and the Birth of Forensic Medicine in Jazz Age New YorkDeborah Blum

I just finished this one and gave it 4 stars. It's a very interesting non-fiction book about the birth of forensic medicine in the United States, particularly in New York, during the early 20th century. Each chapter is about the research done and some cases involved with different chemical poisons. Also very interesting to read about the state and federal government's roles in allowing/halting the poisons in society, especially the years of Prohibition and alcohols.
