Lenore Wolfe | 41 comments Hi everyone,
I am looking for lovers of Western Romance, who love powerful men from the wild west--or just, powerful men.... Readers who love writers like Johanna Lindsay, Amanda Quick, Georgina Gentry, Linda Lael Miller....

I am giving away a free digital copy of my new book, Dark Warrior, To Tame a Wild Hawk, in exchange for honest reviews.

I guarantee Hawk will curl your toes with the type of male arrogance women love, and deny to their dying breath. After all, didn't we all just love James Mallory:) Oh, for the days of when Johanna Lindsay evoked every emotion a woman could ever feel for a man.

If you're interested, please email me at lenorewolfe@gmail.com for your free coupon.

Description:
Amanda Kane has always had visions of the man she's destined to marry--a cowboy who will help her save her ranch. But Hawk is no ordinary cowboy. In fact, Hawk's no ordinary man. He carries a powerful secret--a secret that leads to betrayal.

David Brown | 67 comments I'm looking for tips and advice on running a virtual book tour. I've followed some of the ones you guys have been a part of and am now looking to stage my own for my novel, Fistful of Reefer.

Ideas or leads on folk around these parts who would love to have a guest blogger drop in?

Press Release for Fistful of Reefer:
Fistful of Reefer is a dieselpunk, weird Western pulp featuring goats, guns and the camaraderie of outcasts. Marijuana was the plan, liberty the dream, revolution the result. Viva this!

David Mark Brown's debut novel is the first in a series he calls Reeferpunk -- an alternate history that explores the ramifications of an industrial revolution sans cheap oil.

Set along the Texas Mexico border during the waining years of the Mexican revolution, Fistful of Reefer focuses on a group of unlikely heros and their equally unlikely foe as they stumble upon the fringes of a cabal bent on nothing short of redrawing geopolitical boundaries and world domination.

Anticipated release of this ebook exclusive is July 31st, 2011.

Richard Sutton (richardsutton) | 133 comments David, I'd be happy to offer you an online interview to post on my site. Your book sounds like a romp! I work in a more traditional genre, historic/fantasy, so if you'd be interested in reading about an Irish Co. Mayo shepherd and the ancient secret he must protect set in 1911, let me know and I'll send you a coupon for a free eBook copy of The Red Gate on Smashwords. You can also read the reviews on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

message 9: by David (new)

David Brown | 67 comments Great. I just grabbed the free sample .epub of The Red Gate from smashwords. I'll check it out, and don't worry about the coupon. I can handle the $2.95 and I now how indie's need money!
If you want you can visit: www.reeferpunk.com for more samples of the writing or www.thegreenporch.com for my personal blog.

I look forward to doing the interview at your convenience. My target date for book release isn't until the end of July, but feel free to send me the questions you'd like me to answer whenever.

Thanks again.

Doug DePew (dougdepew) | 13 comments Mine just released officially the end of February, but it wasn't fully available until around April.

It's a memoir of my time in Heilbronn, Germany as security for Pershing II nuclear missiles. I was stationed there from 1986 to 1988 with C 2/4 Infantry (Pershing), and we had an "interesting" time. People always enjoyed my stories of my time in Germany and told me for twenty years that I should write a book...so I did! The book has history, adventure, travel, romance, and a lot of humor. It's basically carrying the reader through the entire experience with me. This is a bit of a coming of age story. By all accounts, it's very funny and entertaining. You can read reviews on Amazon.

It's been very well received. This is the twentieth anniversary of the destruction of that last Pershing missile, so it seemed like a good time to tell our story. As far as I can tell, nothing like it has ever been written. It's available from just about any on-line retailer in paperback and through Kindle, Nookbooks, and I just got it on Smashwords Sunday!

Richard Sutton (richardsutton) | 133 comments My non-fiction short, Corrales, was just published in the Journal of the Santa Fe Writers Project. It covers one very... memorable day in the life of a couple of newbie traders in the wilds of New Mexico. Every word is true. Really. Take a look and let me know what you think!

It will probably become a chapter in an upcoming non-fiction book of trader tales.

Lauren Grossman (laurenbgrossman) | 42 comments I had an idea and wondered if my friends at Goodreads would be willing to help me out. Four months ago I paid to have a book trailer made. It turned out great. In the 4 months I have had 840 visits and 24 comments. I may have made some book sales through it – that’s hard to tell.

I asking if all of you would please click onto this site:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQorTk... , and, if possible, leave a comment. That would help me rise up the Youtube ladder. Additionally, I’m requesting that you share the website address onto your Facebook page, Twitter, blogs, etc.

I don’t believe that a book trailer could possibly go “viral” – that only happens to people who burp the Star-Spangled Banner. But it would be a great experiment. Obviously, this request is not completely altruistic – it’s possible I may get some sales out of it. But, we could then all help each other in the same way, since we are all in the same boat.

My thanks to those of you who do this and please let me know your book’s name (website, Amazon link- if you’re an Amazon Associate, etc).

Aimee Laine (aimee_laine) Mine JUST release last week! Wheeeeeee!

Little White Lies (Mimics of Rune) by Aimee Laine

Blurb:
When the government needs a body double for a covert operation, they hire shape-shifter Charley Randall. For two centuries, she’s played every part from foreign dignitary to office drone. The role she wants most, though, is one she’s denied herself three times already.

FBI Agent Wyatt Moreland believes Charley’s photographic memory is the key to his latest assignment. He’s oblivious to the true extent of her abilities, but he can’t deny the sense of déjà vu at their introduction.

Unlike Wyatt, Charley knows this isn’t their first meeting.

It’s their fourth.

The girl he vowed to love, sixteen years before, stands in front of him in her true form - one he’ll never recognize.

With each reconnection, Charley loves him more, though she realizes this is her last chance to explain. Only absolute truth can bring them happiness, but can Wyatt forgive her deceptions? Or will lies tear them apart forever?

Tracy Rozzlynn (TracyRozzlynn) | 10 comments Fast-Tracked the first book in the Fast-Track Trilogy is now availible. https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Study hard, do well on your assessment, and you’ll be rewarded.

The phrase had been repeated throughout Alexandria's life. A person’s ranking on the assessment test determined everything. Their job, where they live, and even who they can marry. At least that’s what Alexandria though before she received the results.

Everything Alexandria believed was a lie. fast-trackers run the country. Anger one of them and your whole world could fall apart. Anger one of them and the person you love would suffer.

Alexandria was elevated to fast-tracker class while her best-friend turned true love was plummeted to the lowest possible rank – a guaranteed life of hardship and misery. She plunges herself into the fast-tracker world in hopes of helping Byron. But can she help Byron before she completely loses herself to the allure of their lifestyle?
