Karen Ng (karenand3) What do the following books have in common? The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, Freedom, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption...They all belong to one or more Best Books of 2010 list(s)!

In your opinion, Out of all the 2010 published books, which one deserves the "Best Book of the Year" title? Why?

Sandy (sgalley) I loved the book, Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley. It is Historical Fiction, and very well researched. I hated for it to end.

I have that book on my wishlist. It's good to hear that it's a good book. :)

My book of the year vote goes to Unbroken. The human spirit and the providence of God brought me to tears several times. In the end I wanted to stand up and cheer. What a remarkable, amazing true story.

Karen Ng (karenand3) My vote also goes to Unbroken A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand ! It was so carefully researched and beautifully written. This book deeply touched me...

I read the trilogy at the ripe old age of 40 and loved all three books!
