Holly, I am so looking forward to reading Klassen's other books! I've only read The Silent Governess, and I loved it, and if I recall you really liked The Silent Governess too. You'll have to let us know how it is :)

I'm about halfway through, and I really like it. The only Austin I've read Pride & Prejudice, which I loved. The movie version of Sense and Sensibility is one of my favorite movies (the one with Emma Thompson & Kate Winslet). I can't help but imagine the Dashwood sisters in the novel looking just like them. :)

Kimberly | 5 comments I'm reading Lilac Spring by Ruth Axtell Morren...pretty good so far, I hate putting it down.

To all you reading Klassen...I hope you enjoy her books as much as I did. So far I've read The Apothecary's Daughter, The Girl in the Gatehouse, The Lady of Milkweed Manor and The Silvent Governess....all fascinating and enthralling.

Molly (mollystories) | 4 comments I'm reading Nick of Time by Tim Downs. Pretty good, so far. The main character is eccentric and interesting; sharp, witty dialogue.

message 16: by Holly (new)

Holly (teamcomfy) I'm reading A Race to Splendor by Ciji Ware, it's the first book of hers that I have read (I won it in a Goodreads giveaway). It's more historical than romantic (I do like historical fiction), but I scanned the last couple pages (oops...) and there is some romance towards the end.

message 17: by Molly (new)

Molly (mollystories) | 4 comments I'm currently reading The Lightkeeper's Ball by Colleen Coble. Nice, easy read so far (Chapter 1).

Lona, I love that series! Still have #5 to read, but it'll be sad to say goodbye to all the characters.

I've just finished an excellent chick-lit novel, Sahm I Am by Meredith Efken, and I'm about to start When Calls the Heart by Janette Oke.
